Your safer neighbourhood team
Our community policing teams are dedicated to proactively tackling issues that matter most to our communities and address the core root of a problem, finding a long term solution. Split across local hubs, as well as an airport community team and the Community Enforcement team, officers have a visible presence in our communities engaging with the local public and prioritising activity based on the needs of the local people.
Partnership working is the key to community policing success and teams work closely with other organisations to maintain good networks and monitor community needs, working together to fully understand a problem and tailor the response to get the best results.

VEHICLE NUISANCE/OFF ROAD BIKES is the new priority going forward for AREA 5. Nuisance bikes have been causing issues mainly around the HENLOW/STOTFOLD/ARLESEY area.

ASB in BIGGLESWADE town centre has been identified as the community priority for this quarter, this has been identified from the Bedfordshire Talking Survey, and crime data. There is a PMP setup on Athena under the reference PMP/2231/25 to support tackling and resolving the problem.
ASB will be the focus of the next 3 months. This is a continuation of the previous priority for the area.

Multiple arrests have been made, CBO pending for main offender.

This has been identified as the community priority for this quarter, this has been identified from the Bedfordshire Talking Survey, and crime data. There is a PMP setup on Athena under the reference PMP/3876/26 to support tackling and resolving the problem.
ASB in SANDY market square will be the focus of the next 3 months. This is a continuation of the previous priority for the area.

Multiple arrest have been made, ABCs to be issued by CBC on group of youths causing ASB around the area.
