Police staff play an incredibly important role in supporting our purpose of protecting people and fighting crime, together.
They hold important roles in departments including:

Some staff work in operational roles, such as those based in the Control Room, Crime Bureau, Custody Suites or Intelligence. This means that whether you have reported a crime to the force, or are following something in the media about an unfolding policing matter, the chances are that a member of police staff is working on it behind the scenes.
