After you have submitted your application, it will take the team roughly two to four weeks to review it and confirm if you have made it to the next stage.

SIFT is an online national process that give you the opportunity to demonstrate your suitability for the role.
We will give you seven days to complete and submit this process.
We will send out more information about this stage prior to you completing it. It will take two to four weeks for our team to review your submission. Please check you spam folders for emails about the next stage.
This is a national online process that is only held once a month.
It should take roughly six weeks to get your date and you will have seven days to complete the process. Waiting times will depend on when your SIFT process was submitted and reviewed.
This has a two to six weeks results waiting time. This process is completed by all forces across the country, during high levels of demand results can get delayed.
We will send you information on what to expect for this stage and tips - please keep an eye on your spam folders.
Once you have passed the OAC stage we will arrange an in-force final interview with you.
This will be around four to six weeks after we receive your results.
We will notify you within a week of the outcomes from the interview and if you have progressed the pre-employment stages.
The pre-employment process can be lengthy. To make the process move quicker, we advise to get all the information completed and sent back to HR as quickly as you can.
You will receive documents to complete that are about your medical history, eyesight, reference forms and a link to the online vetting form.
Once we receive your forms you will be booked to see our Occupations Health Unit (OHU). You will also need to come in for your biometrics to be taken and to compete the fitness test.

This process can take one to two months and relies on you returning the forms as quickly as possible, delays will have a knock-on effect on our HR teams processes.
Once you have passed this stage you will receive a final offer letter with a start date. The start date will depend on the next available intake space. This should be around a month but it can be less time depending on your current notice period.
