Second man charged with murder following Dallow Road incident

A second man has been charged with murder following the death of a teenager in Luton on Friday (18 September).

This morning (Wednesday), Syed Shah, 20, of Runley Road, Luton, was charged with murder and subsequently remanded into custody. He will appear at court for a further hearing on Friday 25 September.

On Sunday (20 September), Mohammed Hussain, 20, of Runley Road, Luton, was charged with murder and subsequently remanded into custody.

Officers were called to an incident on Dallow Road shortly after 10.50pm on Friday after receiving a report of a road traffic collision.

On arrival, they found a 19-year-old man with serious injuries. Emergency services attended the scene, but he was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.

Detective Inspector Caeva Taylor, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit, said: "Our investigation remains active and a significant amount of work is being undertaken to establish the full circumstances surrounding this incident.

"Whilst two men have now been charged, our enquiries are ongoing and we continue to appeal for anyone with information who has not yet spoken to police to come forward.

"Any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, could assist our investigation."
