Appeal for information after assault in Luton

We are appealing for information after receiving a report of an assault in Luton last week.

The incident took place between 12pm and 3pm on Monday 25 May where several men, believed to be of south Asian heritage, were seen gathering around a grey Vauxhall people carrier parked at the junction of Dunstable Road and Durbar Road. 

The victim was pushed from the vehicle and was assaulted before being left in the road.

Two men have been arrested in connection with the incident and have been released on bail whilst enquiries continue.

Detective Sergeant Natalie Comb from Bedfordshire Police’s Criminal Investigation Department, said: “We have very limited details in relation to this incident and are therefore asking anyone who was in the area at the time, or who helped the victim, to come forward so we can establish what happened.”
