Bedfordshire Police Officers investigating an incident in which a man was stabbed in Bedford on Tuesday evening have arrested a teenage boy.
Police were called to Elstow Road at around 10.30pm on Tuesday, where they found a man with stab wound injuries.
He is currently being treated in hospital.
Detectives have now arrested a 17-year-old from Bedford on suspicion of attempted murder.
Officers are continuing to appeal for information, in particular in relation to five men seen near the link road between Elstow Road and Sandhurst Road around the time of the attack.
