Bedfordshire Police has launched an appeal for witnesses to an attempted aggravated burglary which took place in Luton last Friday (14 August).
It was reported that a group of three or four men, believed to be carrying weapons, were seen entering a house in Warwick Road West at around 6pm. They left without taking anything and ran off down Warwick Road East onto Oak Road.
Detective Constable Bethany Elliott, from Bedfordshire Police said: “We are currently following a number of lines of enquiry but would also like to urge the public to get in touch with any information.
“If you were in the area at the time and witnessed anything or saw the men running away please do contact us. Your information could be vital in apprehending these offenders and bringing them to justice.”
The men are described as being of south Asian heritage, dressed in dark clothing and two of them were wearing beanie hats.
