We are appealing for information after an aggravated burglary in Bedford on Wednesday 22 April.
At approximately 7pm, three men forced their way into a property in Eagle Gardens, threatening the occupants with a knife before stealing items. They made off from the property in a black Mercedes B Class car, which is believed to have had a cloned registration plate.
Detective Sergeant Ben Dunckley said: “This was a despicable incident which saw a family threatened with violence in their own home. We are currently following a number of lines of enquiry but would also like to urge the public to get in touch with any information.
“If you were in the area at the time and witnessed anything suspicious or have dash cam footage of a car matching this description, please do contact us. Your information could be vital in apprehending these dangerous offenders and bringing them to justice.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact us on 101 or via our website, quoting reference Operation Rilmark.
You can also call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
