Detectives are appealing for information following a serious assault in Luton.
At around 4pm on Sunday (19 April), a man was assaulted by a group of males while waiting to be picked up on Ash Road. During the incident, one of the suspects assaulted the victim with a brick, leaving him with serious injuries.
Detective Constable Tilly Rolt, investigating, said: “This was a brazen attack carried out in broad daylight while the victim was waiting for a lift.
“I would urge anyone who was in the area at the time, saw what happened, or noticed a large group of males acting suspiciously, to contact police so we can fully investigate the circumstances and locate those responsible.”
Anyone with information is asked to report online at beds.police.uk/ro/report or call 101, quoting reference 40/21505/26.
Alternatively, report anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
