Two men have been arrested in connection with a firearms discharge in Luton on Friday night (19 December).
Police were called to the car park of Lewsey Sports Park and Pool in Pastures Way at about 10pm to reports that shots had been fired.
No victims have been identified and no-one is thought to have been injured.
Officers from Bedfordshire Police carried out a series of warrants in Luton and a village north of the town on Sunday. Two men, aged 25 and 21, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and conspiracy to murder. They remain in custody.
Officers have been carrying out extra patrols near to where the incident took place to provide reassurance, while part of the car park was cordoned off for searches. CCTV has been recovered but officers are keen to gather further evidence to help identify those responsible.
Detective Inspector Jon Wheeler said: "We're particularly keen to hear from anyone who was driving near the area and has dashcam footage of the incident or activity before or after the shots were fired."
