Bedfordshire Police is appealing for information following a series of thefts from vehicles over the past few weeks in Brickhill and Putnoe.
A total of 20 incidents have been reported since 1 November including five on the morning of Wednesday 10 December.
Investigations are continuing, including proactive overnight operations with officers targeting the areas in the early hours of the morning.
Inspector Vicky Stoughton of Bedfordshire Police said: “We know how distressing these sorts of break-ins can be and are working to bring the culprit or culprits to justice.
“We would encourage anyone with information or who has been affected to report it so we can continue to build a picture of the offending."
You can report information and access crime prevention advice on the force website.
Advice includes:
Keep all doors locked and windows closed.
Don’t leave valuables or anything that can be easily sold on in your car.
