Detectives investigating an arson attack on a narrow boat in Leighton Buzzard are appealing for information.
Police were called after a boat on the Grand Union Canal, between Old Linslade Road and Globe Lane, was found with a smashed window and one of its rooms completely burnt out.
The incident is believed to have happened between 2pm on Saturday 8 November and 11am on Sunday 9 November.
Detective Sergeant Richard Marshall, investigating, said: “This attack caused extensive damage and we are keen to identify those involved.
“We’re asking anyone who saw anything suspicious or has any information that could assist our investigation - no matter how small - to get in touch.”
