Police are appealing for information following a collision involving three vehicles in Houghton Conquest yesterday (Thursday) in which three people were seriously injured.
Officers were called at around 12.25pm to reports of a collision at the junction of the B530 Ampthill Road and Bedford Road in Houghton Conquest.
Three vehicles – a white Jeep, a white Vauxhall Vivaro and a white Renault Kangoo Maxi – were involved in the collision. Three people suffered serious injuries and were taken to hospital. Three more suffered minor injuries.
One driver has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
Sergeant Jamie Cooper from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Roads Policing Unit said: “We are asking anyone who witnessed this incident to get in touch.
“We know that some vehicles drove past the scene immediately after the collision and we want to hear from them as a matter of urgency, particularly if they have dashcams fitted.”
