Two people have been charged with causing grievous bodily harm following an incident in which a man was stabbed in Bedford last Friday (9 August).
A man was seriously injured in the incident which happened at just after 4pm in Church Lane Bedford.
Last night (Wednesday) Nazim Uddin, 18, of Newton Road Bedford, and a 17-year-old youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, were charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent. Mr Uddin was also charged with possession of an offensive weapon. He has been remanded in custody.
