We are appealing for information following a road traffic collision in Luton on Easter Saturday (30 March) in which a 12-year-old boy was injured.
Officers were called to the incident in Regis Road just after 5.15pm after a grey Fiat 500 hit a lamp-post and a fence before colliding with the child.
Ambulance crews were on the scene and treated the boy for minor injuries.
The driver of the car fled the scene and is yet to be identified. Officers arrested the passenger who was later released without charge.
Police are now appealing for anyone with information or dashcam footage to come forward.
PC Sharnie Davidson of the Road Policing Unit said: “We are interested in speaking to anyone who saw this incident or who may have captured it on dashcam as we piece together exactly what happened.”
Anyone who has any information or dash cam footage is asked to report online or call 101 quoting CAD 316 of 30 March.
