We are appealing for information following a road traffic collision involving four vehicles in Hockliffe on Wednesday (27 March) in which a man and a woman were injured.
Officers were called to the incident on the A5 Watling Street at around 8.20pm. It is understood the accident happened after a deer ran into the road.
The driver and passenger of one of the vehicles, a man and woman both in their twenties were taken to Addenbrooke’s hospital. The man was treated for serious injuries, the woman suffered minor injuries and has since been released from hospital.
Their vehicle, a black Toyota Yaris had been in collision with a silver Ford Fiesta.
The driver of the silver Ford was taken to a local hospital and was treated for minor injuries.
Police are now appealing for anyone with information or dashcam footage to come forward.
Police Sergeant Stephanie Corletto of the Road Policing Unit said:
“We are interested in speaking to anyone who saw this incident or who may have captured it on dashcam as we piece together exactly what happened.”
Anyone who has any information or dash cam footage is asked to tell us about it online or call 101 quoting CAD 381 of 27 March.
