The victim, who is now 19, was found lying injured in New Bedford Road, close to Telford Way, in the early hours of 2 June 2022 after what was initially believed to be a hit and run collision.
A man and a woman – Mohammed Hamid, 49, of Brantwood Road, Luton, and Jasmine Aldrich, 37, of Union Street, Bedford – have now both been charged with conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm in connection to the incident.
Aldrich appeared at Luton Magistrates Court yesterday (Thursday) and is next due to appear in court in March.
