We are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision on the A6 in Silsoe last Friday (2 June).
Police were called at around 4.40pm to reports of a collision involving a silver Peugeot Partner van and a black Vauxhall Insignia.
The drivers of both vehicles sustained serious injuries and were taken to hospital.
PC Pete Hoddy, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Serious Collisions Investigation Unit, said: “We are following several lines of enquiry to establish the cause of this incident and are keen for anyone who witnessed it or has any dash cam footage either before or during the incident to please contact us.”
