We are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision in Bedford in the early hours of this morning (Thursday), which has left a pedestrian seriously injured.
Just after 1am, a white Seat Ibiza was travelling along Midland Road in Bedford, approaching the roundabout with Prebend Street.
The vehicle was then involved in a collision with a pedestrian on Ford End Road.
The pedestrian, a man in his 20s, has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Sergeant Craig Wheeler, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Roads Policing Unit, said: “Although this collision happened in the early hours of this morning, I would urge anyone who was in the area and witnessed this collision, to come forward.
“Anyone with information or with dash cam footage is asked to contact us to support our investigation.”
If you have information or footage, please report it by calling 101 or via the online reporting tool quoting Operation Nation.
