We are appealing for witnesses following a string of arsons in Marsh Farm in Luton since 13 March.
The first incident occurred at around 6am on 13 March where a vehicle was set on fire.
Further offences were later reported where small bins, communal waste bins, abandoned cars, a garage and a caravan were targeted.
One of the most recent incidents occurred at around 7pm on Wednesday 11 May where a small bin was set on fire.
The offences all took place around Copenhagen Close, Luxembourg Close, Brussels Way and Wauluds Bank Drive.
PC Uddin, from the local policing team, said: “We are treating these incidents as linked and are urging anybody who has witnessed anybody behaving suspiciously in the area to get in touch with us.
“The fires are tending to happen significantly late at night or evening. However, recently they are becoming more and more varied.
“These incidents are understandably causing a great deal of stress to local residents and any information you have could help us establish who is responsible.”
Anyone with any information is urged to contact police on 101 or report online.
