Misconduct Hearing for PC Iain Solomon

Background:

It is alleged that PC 430 Iain SOLOMON Breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour as set out in Schedule 2 of the Police (Conduct) Regulations 2020, to the level of Gross Misconduct of listed below:

·       Honesty and Integrity

·       Duties and Responsibilities

·       Discreditable Conduct

·       Authority, Respect and Courtesy

When dealing with an incident on 21^st September 2024, PC Solomon was dishonest to a member of the public/complainant and provided inaccurate reports to the Force Control Room.

On 21^st September 2024 PC Solomon’s interaction with a member of the public was confrontational and unprofessional.

On 21^st September 2024 PC Solomon failed to carry out an effective investigation and failed to take into account the needs and rights of the member of the public/complainant as a victim of crime.

The Hearing will take place on Monday, 15 June 2026 to Wednesday, 17 June 2026
