Request under the freedom of information act 2000 ref no's: FOI2025/00172 and 00162.
I write in connection with your request for information received on 7th January. I note you seek access to the following information:
I am writing to make a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
Please can you provide the following information for the 2024 calendar year:
1. How many suspected banned or dangerous dogs were seized by police
2. How many of the seized dogs were suspected XL Bullies
3. How many banned or dangerous dogs were destroyed by police
4. How many of the destroyed dogs were XL Bullies
